When you create your custom design on our Design page, click Start Designing, select Custom Color, enter the exact Benjamin Moore color name and code to create an html. approximation of the shade you desire. Your selection will appear on the preview display of the Design page. Currently, we may custom color match most Benjamin Moore and NCS color codes using a digital scan and the Milesis Kromosystem. This allows you to select thousands of beautiful custom colors without charge, if you accept the precise digital approximation. Remember that 2K polyurethanes have a particular color depth, sheen and iridescence that distinguish them from other surfaces in the exact same color.
When you place a custom color order outside of these two palettes, we color match your example and prepare 4 x 6 inch painted samples, then mail to you examples for your approval. This allows you to judge the perceptual color, finish and iridescent effect in your kitchen at different times of day. The remaining samples are held by our painter, our production manager and in our records as part of your purchase agreement. Your cabinets will not be produced until we receive your written approval of the sample. Allow an additional 2 week lead time when requesting a custom color match in this manner. A paint-color charge of $400 will apply for each custom color requested.
